Brushed fleece with a soft face. Treat it gently and it stays soft; treat it hard and it pills.

Washing and drying

1. Turn inside out to protect the face and the finish.
2. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, with other fleece or heavy pieces.
3. Mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener.
4. Tumble dry low, or lay flat. Do not over-dry.

Avoid

• Washing fleece with towels, zips or hook fastening - that is where pilling starts.
• Iron only inside out, on low, and never over the emblem.

Keeping it

Fold rather than hang; a heavy hoodie on a hanger grows at the shoulders.
