Who this covers

This policy explains what LGCY APPAREL, INC. ("LGCY", "we", "us") collects when you visit lgcyapparel.com, open an account, hold a membership, or place an order, and what we do with it. It covers this website and the LGCY member services reached from it. Separate terms govern wholesale accounts and LGCY Studio production accounts.

What we collect

Information you give us directly:

• Your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, and telephone number.
• Your order history, sizes, and the colorways and prints you choose.
• Your membership tier and its billing cycle.
• Anything you enter into your digital closet — garments you own, style preferences, and questions you put to the stylist.
• Messages you send us, including returns correspondence.

Information collected automatically when you browse:

• Your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view.
• A session identifier stored in a cookie, so your bag survives from page to page.

Information from others:

• Confirmation from our payment processor that a payment succeeded, together with the card brand and its last four digits.
• Delivery status from the carriers who move your parcels.

Payment details

We do not take, hold, or store full payment card numbers. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, which is certified to the PCI Data Security Standard. What reaches us is the result of the transaction and the last four digits, kept so you can recognize your own order.

How we use what we collect

• To take, fulfill, ship and return your orders.
• To operate your account and your membership, including renewals and the benefits attached to your tier.
• To answer you when you write to us.
• To run Wardrobe Intelligence and the LGCY stylist, described below.
• To send The Edition and other brand mail, when you have asked for it. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.
• To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the site standing up.
• To meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means that produce legal effects or anything similarly significant.

Wardrobe Intelligence and the stylist

Wardrobe Intelligence runs on hardware LGCY controls. Your closet entries and your questions to the stylist are processed on our own systems and are not sent to a third-party model provider.

Inside that service your records are keyed to a one-way hash of your email address rather than to the address itself, so the working data cannot be read back to a person without the account record. You can empty your closet at any time from your account, and deleting your account deletes it with them.

Cookies

We use one cookie that matters: a signed, HTTP-only session cookie that holds nothing but a random identifier. It is what lets your bag follow you from page to page and keeps you signed in. It is not readable by scripts, and it carries no advertising or profiling value.

We run no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and no cross-site analytics.

The site makes no third-party requests at all. Typefaces, stylesheets, scripts and photography are served from our own servers, so no other company learns that you visited, what you looked at, or when.

Who we share it with

• Our payment processor, to take payment.
• Carriers, to deliver your parcels and handle returns.
• Service providers who host or secure our systems, bound by contract to use your information only as we instruct.
• Professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it.
• A successor entity, if LGCY is ever merged or acquired — on the same terms set out here.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to us and we will respond within the period your law allows — thirty days as our standard, forty-five where California law applies.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to know what we collect and why, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be treated worse for exercising any of them. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; the other rights are exercised by writing to us.

You may authorize an agent to act for you. We will ask for proof of that authority and verify your identity before we act on any request.

How long we keep it

• Order records: seven years, which is what tax and accounting rules require of us.
• Account and closet data: for as long as your account is open, and then thirty days, after which it is deleted.
• Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: ninety days.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Member data at rest sits on an encrypted volume, with field-level encryption over the sensitive parts and the keys held in escrow away from the running systems. Access is limited to the people who need it to do their work. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise; if a breach ever affects you we will tell you and the relevant regulator within the time the law sets.

Children

This site is not directed to children under sixteen and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post any change here and move the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
